the value of family photos

It was an honor to reconnect with this amazing family at Lake Anna, Virginia, to document their growing family. About 8 years prior we attended the same church together while we were stationed in North Carolina - and now the kids are grown, married, and with kids of their own! It was a special session for them have their first grandchild and recently wed son and daughter-and-law now in the photo. They chose Lake Anna because of its gorgeous setting, and it was a middle ground where their whole family could meet up. Although the sun was still strong during our evening session, we utilized the shaded areas for the first half our session, then got some gorgeous shots as the sun began to set beyond the lake.
